Not long ago, Chinese brand Oukitel released three cheap smartphones with full-screen displays such as the Oukitel K8, Oukitel WP2 and Oukitel K7. Now, as it enters mid-2018, Oukitel is re-launching their latest cheap smartphones. Interestingly, this cheap Oukitel smartphone is equipped with a design very similar to the iPhone X. The cheap smartphone is called the Oukitel U19.
According to China's Gizok, the Oukitel U19 features a 5.85-inch screen with a screen aspect ratio of 21:9 and an ultra-thin screen with HD resolution. There is also a notch at the top of the screen. This is why the U19 is very similar to the iPhone X. The difference is that the Oukitel U19 has a small bezel at the bottom of the screen, while the iPhone X does not.
On the back cover, if the iPhone X has a dual camera on the left side, the Oukitel U18 actually has a dual camera in the middle of the fuselage and a fingerprint scanner sensor located directly below the camera. Not only is the fingerprint scanner, this smartphone also features Face Unlock technology or face scanning as an added security, which is said to be unlocked in just 0.1 seconds.
The Oukitel U19 is equipped with an Octa-Core MT6750T processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. In addition, the phone is also equipped with a microSD slot of up to 128 GB. As for battery capacity, this Oukitel smartphone is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery and comes with a USB 5V / 2A charger.
Camera specifications, the Oukitel U19 is equipped with dual cameras 16 MP + 5 MP rear, supporting Sony (IMX135) and OV (OV8858) sensors. The front camera is equipped with a 13 MP sensor. The device runs on Android 7 Nougat OS, which is by far the most stable version. However, the company may consider upgrading to Android Oreo.
