Last week, Oukitel announced that it is developing a new large battery rugged smartphone called WP2. As the successor to the Oukitel WP5000, the upcoming device is a three-proof smartphone. This means the product get IP68 certified and is also dust and shock resistant.
The company revealed that the upcoming WP2 will feature a 6-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass and FHD+ resolution. WP2 has a 18:9 aspect ratio. 4GB RAM, and 64GB RAM or 128GB RAM. Most importantly, WP2 will also offer a dual camera service with a Samsung S5K2PT sensor and a 2.0MP auxiliary camera.
The highlight of the device is the 10,000 mAh battery, which according to Oukitel, will be able to support up to a week of use. More importantly, the device will be equipped with a 9V / 2A fast charger so that the user can charge the battery faster.
